There are now more details regarding a fatal accident off of Highway 87 that resulted in the death of a Great Falls construction worker.



The accident happened around 3:45 Saturday afternoon east of Highway 87 on Black Eagle Road.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the incident happened on a closed construction site.

According to Cascade County Sheriff Bob Edwards, the accident involved a piece of construction machinery versus a pedestrian.

The man who died was a United Materials employee; his identity is being withheld at this time pending notification of family.

Edwards says the case is still under investigation.

Sheriff Edwards also says the County Attorney has been notified and there will be more information on any potential charges early next week.
