As if things could not get any worse, another collapse of a roads structure in Montreal puts public safety at risk. The good news is no one was hurt or killed by the events Sunday in the Ville Marie Tunnel.
What will be the coverup story by Transport Quebec this time? It is obvious that the department is not doing its job keeping Quebec citizens safe. There is something very wrong in Quebec when it comes to construction, a public inquiry is desperately needed to expose the mess.
With all the taxes we pay here in Quebec and the government reassuring us that the money is going to improve our transport system, someone is taking us to the cleaners. From Premier Jean Charest to Mayor Gérald Tremblay, each one should be held accountable for their actions. Montreal is crumbling before our very eyes.
